Absentee Ballots – Reminder
For Voting on Upcoming
General Chairpersons Elections

Members can request Absentee Ballot(s) for the following reasons:

• I reside more than forty (40) km driving distance from the Local Lodge
• I will be on vacation
• I am on a verified illness
• I will be on official IAMAW Business
• I will be on Employer Travel Assignment

Any member entitled to receive an Absentee Ballot may complete in full the 2323 Absentee Request
form available from the 2323 website (iamaw2323.ca) and also available in the Shop Committee Offices.
The member must forward it to the Recording Secretary via Canada Post or by handing it in, in person,
to the Recording Secretary.

Absentee Ballot requests must be sent in individual envelopes. Absentee Ballot request must be
received by Tuesday October 13, 2015 at the latest via mail or in person to Recording Secretary.

Please don’t forget to complete the form in full including a valid union card number and your signature.
If you don’t have your union card number you can get it by calling the Local Lodge office at
905-678-0010.
