Nominations and Election Notice
In accordance with the IAM Constitution, Local 2323 will be accepting nominations and holding elections for the following Local Officers:
- Shop Committee Chairperson, Airports YYZ (Toronto)
- Shop Committee Chairperson Tech Ops
- Chief Steward Clerical
Nominations for these positions will be held at the regular monthly meeting of Local 2323 in September at the following date, time and location:
Tuesday, September 1, 2026

Nominations will be accepted only from members in good standing of Local 2323. Candidates for elective office must be members of the Local for at least 1 year at the time of nomination and free from delinquency to the Local, District and International Union.
– Local elections will take place on December 1, 2026, at the Local 2323 Union Hall, 2580 Drew Road, Mississauga, ON L4T 3M5. Only members in good standing of Local 2323 will be permitted to vote in the elections. Online voting will commence at 0630 hours to 2100 hours to accommodate members working all shifts.
– The candidate who receives the highest number of votes shall be declared elected. The elected candidate will serve a three-year term, commencing on January 1, 2027, to December 31, 2029.
