OUTSOURCING OF CANADIAN OPERATIONS
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
There have been a large number of membership questions as a result of United Airlines’ announcement on February 20, 2014 of their deplorable decision to outsource their Canadian operations to third party service providers.
Unfortunately, there are very few factual answers at this time. However, Transportation District 140, in consultation with our legal counsel, Grand Lodge and the affected Local Lodges, are working jointly in order to obtain factual answers to the membership’s questions and will issue a Q & A bulletin as soon as possible.
