ELECTION of DELEGATES

DISTRICT 140 CONVENTION 2015 MONTREAL
Please be advised that the following candidate names will appear on the election ballot for the positions of 2323 Delegates to District 140 Convention. The following names will appear on the ballot, you are to choose only seven (7) names from the following candidates:

ABSENTEE BALLOTS
As per Local Lodge Bylaws (Article IV) – Members who reside in outlying districts more than 25 miles/40km (driving distance) from the designated balloting place, members who are either confined because of verified illness or vacation or on official IAM business, approved by the Local Lodge, District Lodge or Grand Lodge, or on an employer travel assignment, as the case may be, may request an absentee request form. Any member entitled to receive an absentee ballot shall make a written request not later than 30 days before the election. Check Google Maps (maps.google.ca) and advise us that you now qualify. Absentee ballot requests must be sent in individual envelopes and completed in full (including a valid union card number). The request must be received no later than March 17 2015 via Canada Post to the Local Lodge or in person to the Recording Secretary.
At the polling station, a valid union card must be presented or a ballot will not be issued.

Polling Hours: 06:30 – 21:00 hrs
