RE-RUN ELECTION
AIR CANADA DESIGNATED GENERAL CHAIRPERSON
CENTRAL REGION
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Due to a recent decision issued by the Grand Lodge International President Thomas Buffenbarger upholding “Article “L” charges filed against Brother Vick Seebalak per the IAM Constitution, “The Local Lodge 2323 President was directed to immediately revoke Brother Seebalak of his shop committee responsibility and see to it that he is not eligible to run for any position in this union for a period of three (3) years”.
With respect to this decision, Brother Vick Seebalak is ineligible to run as a candidate in the Air “Canada Designate” General Chairperson re-run election that will take place on January 14, 2016. Therefore, Brother Seebalak’s name will be removed from the ballot.
The following candidates will be listed on re-issued ballot:
• Lefebvre, Paul (LL2323)
• Richardson, Boyd (LL2323)
As absentee ballots have been mailed out prior to the International President decision which included Brother Seebalak as a candidate, please be advised that any ballot received with a vote for Brother Vick Seebalak will be counted as a “SPOILED” ballot.
