SPM ORGANIZING CAMPAIGN

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Please be advised that the Canadian Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) issued an Order whereby a secret ballot representation vote is to be held amongst the Screening Point Managers (SPMs) employed by GardaWorld at the Toronto Airports.

The CIRB Order also assigns a designated CIRB Officer to supervise the secret ballot representation vote.

The supervision of this vote allows the SPMs to freely and confidentially vote for IAMAW Union representation without interference by the employer.

I ask that our Garda Members stand in solidarity and support the SPMs in their right to join our UNION.

In Solidarity,

Fred Hospes, President & Directing General Chairperson
Transportation District 140, IAMAW
