CLARITY ON RECENT SHIFT AND MANPOWER
ALLOCATION ADJUSTMENTS IN YOW
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The IAM has the following understandings with Air Canada and
expectations are as follows;
- All crew and start time movements of Members will be
respecting Collective Agreement Article 10.01.03.01.04 and 10.01.06.01. - Should your crew selection result in you changing cycles, your
vacation selection will not be preserved. - Should you be displaced from your cycle by a senior employee, your
vacation selections will be honoured and you can elect to
slide it one cycle forward or back.
Local Agreement rules regarding “Movement by Seniority within
the Base-November 2016” remain in effect until further discussion
takes place between the parties.
A Local Agreement referencing the most recent shift patterns will be
discussed with Labour Relations and formulated as appropriate.
