AIR CANADA – TMOS
NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE – May 23, 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Your 2019 – 2022 TMOS Negotiating Committees continued direct bargaining with Air
Canada from April 8th – 12th in Vancouver and again from April 29th – May 3rd in
Toronto.
Despite a promising start to the process back in March, little progress has been made
to date and the Company has shown noticeable disinterest during the meetings that
have transpired.
The Committees will be meeting with Air Canada again from May 27th through to June
7th to make a final push to achieve a tentative agreement and avoid binding arbitration.
As always, thank you for your support. It is needed more than ever as we head into
these final stages.
