Drive Thru Nomination for Shop Committee Chairperson YYZ Airports
and Tech Ops
A Special Drive-Thru Nomination will be held on September 29th, 2020 from 0900 until 1800 at IAMAW Local Lodge
2323 at 2580 Drew Road Mississauga.
This would enable the Local Lodge to ensure that Social Distancing protocols are respected.
There are to be no more than twenty-five (25) Members permitted on the premises at one time.
This type of nomination is a precautionary measure for our Member’s health and safety, due to the pandemic
outbreak of COVID-19.
ELIGIBILITY
Members will be able to accept nomination in person by attending the drive-thru nomination on September 29th
2020. Nominees not in attendance must submit a written acceptance to the Recording Secretary of the Local Lodge
prior to 1800 on September 29th 2020 via fax (905-678-0034), email (rs@iamaw2323.ca), or Canada Post (2580
Drew Rd. Mississauga ON L4T 3M5).
A candidate must have been a Member of an affiliated Lodge for at least six (6) months prior to nominations. They
must have attended 50% of the regular Monthly Membership Meetings held by the Lodge that their Union
activities, shift assignments, vacations and verified illnesses would allow during the previous twelve (12) month
period ending the date of close of nominations.
