In Memoriam -Brother Mohammed Goffur

April 26, 2021

Brother Mohammed Goffur

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that your Union must inform
you of the passing of Brother Mohammed Goffur, on April 22, 2021. Brother
Goffur was a retired Station Attendant who worked in Ramp and Baggage
Services in Toronto. He is the loving father of Zia Goffur, an active Customer
Service Agent assigned to Toronto Cargo. He will be fondly remembered by
all his many friends and co-workers.

Brother Goffur was a continually active participant in his Union, having
served as a Shop Steward and Member of the Local Lodge Human Rights
and Equity Committee. He was known for his calm and methodical
demeanour when dealing with workplace conflict. Brother Goffur remained
active in retirement and would frequently volunteer his services as an
election teller for the Local Lodge.

A private service and interment were conducted as per his wishes. The Union
will be making a donation on behalf of the Membership.

Condolences have been expressed to his family.

In Solidarity,

Dave Flowers
President
