By-Law Amendments Notice Reminder
The proposed Local Lodge 2323 By-Law Amendments were read out at the
December 14, 2021 General Membership Monthly Meeting.
The Second reading, debate and voting are to take place at the
March 1, 2022 General Membership Monthly Meeting.
The December 14 and March 1 meetings are in fact consecutive meetings
due to the January and February meetings being cancelled due to Provincial Covid restrictions.
As per Local Lodge 2323 By-Laws, Section 3, any proposed By-Law Amendment must be submitted
by December 13, 2021, in writing to the Local Lodge 2323 Recording Secretary and signed
by no less than 5 members in good standing.
The By-Law Committee will then review all proposed amendments at the March 1, 2022
General Membership Monthly Meeting. The By-Law committee will then recommend
either “concurrence” or “non-concurrence” with the proposed By-Law Amendment.
A majority affirmative vote from those present at the meeting is needed
to then seek approval from Grand Lodge for the changes.
