Re: Minimum Monthly Dues
Local Lodge 2323 has been covering the per capita increase from Grand Lodge and District 140 to the membership for many years, to lessen the financial burden on our members. Today we can no longer continue to absorb the cost, and the monthly dues will be increased as the per capita. From January 2017 to January 2023 the per capita has increased by $9.61. Yesterday the Eboard voted unanimously to raise the dues to bring it up to the monthly per capita, as of February 17, 2023.
Article XIX – MEMBERSHIPS, FEES, DUES AND ASSESSMENTS
Section 3. (a) The monthly dues of the Local Lodge shall be a uniform rate equal to one (1) time the weighted average hourly earnings of members covered by the collective bargaining agreements under the Local Lodge jurisdiction in accordance with the IAM Constitution, plus Grand Lodge per capita charges, District 140 per capita charges, and all lAM mandatory affiliation per capita charges (OFL, OPCM, CMC).
The new dues will be $28.44 bi-weekly
