Absentee Ballot Request Reminder
This is a friendly reminder that the deadline date to request an absentee ballot is 30 days before the election date. November 21, 2023 is the election date for all General Chairperson positions.
Printable absentee ballots can be found on the iamaw2323.ca home page, bottom right. Or the link is: Absentee Ballot Request Form (iamaw2323.ca)
Members can request Absentee Ballot(s) for the following reasons:
• I reside more than forty (40) km driving distance from the Local Lodge
• I will be on vacation
• I am on a verified illness
• I will be on official IAMAW Business
• I will be on Employer Travel Assignment
Any member entitled to receive an Absentee Ballot may complete in full the 2323 Absentee Request form available from the 2323 website (iamaw2323.ca)
The member must forward it to the Recording Secretary via Canada Post or by handing it in person, to the Recording Secretary.
