The YYZ Cargo department will be undergoing a large-scale transformation, with the continuation of CHIP (Cargo Hub Improvement Program). This will include the relocation of work areas between AC-1 & AC-2. Modernization of a new software system moving from the old Cielo system to the new implementation of the Lodige system by September 2025 will also be a part of this project. - 4 castor decks (2 at AC-1 and 2 at AC-2)
- New high density automated racking storage with combined 2600 positions in both AC-1 & AC-2

We understand that this is a significant disruption, however, rest assured the Union will advocate for all its members for the benefit of adherence to our CBA. Safety of our membership is our top priority. This transitionary period will most certainly create challenges that can’t be anticipated. If you have concerns that require the intervention of a Health & Safety representative please bring them forward to their attention immediately and also fill out a safety report (SIMS).
We are committed to the mutual success of the Corporation and the creation of further employment within the Cargo branch.
