Thanks to everyone who came out to support our CUPE Brothers and Sisters prior to a last-minute tentative deal just hours before the strike deadline. The Air Canada Flight Attendants staged this national rally called the “Purple Wave” that occurred at stations across the country.
There was great participation from all Unions including the CAW, CALDA, IAMAW, the United Steel Workers and CUPW. Sid Ryan, president of the Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL), delivered clear and directed speech.
