NOTICE ATTENTION: IAM MEMBERS IN TORONTO

Dear Brothers & Sisters,
We’ve recently been made aware that some of our members are being approached and harassed by individuals trying to pressure them into joining their personal WhatsApp and Telegram social media groups.
These individuals have been spotted walking through Toronto Pearson Airport and are claiming to represent a group called CAWU, a small and rogue union.
These people have no affiliation whatsoever with the IAM. Their presence and tactics are concerning. No one should feel pressured, cornered, or intimidated at work, especially by individuals who appear to have their own self-serving agenda.
If you’re approached, you have every right to tell them to stop and walk away. We strongly encourage you to report any such encounters immediately to GTAA security at 416-776-7381 and your Union representatives at (905) 671-3192.
Document what happened, and if you can, take pictures. Please don’t hesitate to speak up.
Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected at work. We take this situation seriously and will continue to monitor it closely.
