    Notice of Nominations and Elections for IAM Local 2323 Executive Board Officers
    Please note, nominations will take place for Local 2323 Executive Board Officers
    as well as three Auditors on October 7, 2025.
    Members in attendance will be able to accept nomination.
    Nominees not in attendance must submit a written acceptance
    to the Recording Secretary of the Local prior to the Membership meeting.
    A candidate must have been a member of an affiliated Lodge
    for at least six (6) months prior to nominations.
    The election will be held on December 02, 2025,
    for the above positions at IAM Local 2323.
    The term of office for these elected positions will be from January 1, 2026,
    through to December 31, 2028.

    The following positions are open to nominations:

    • President
    • Vice-President
    • Recording Secretary
    • Secretary Treasurer
    • Conductor-Sentinel
    • Three (3) Trustees
    • Three (3) Auditors

    Polling Hours:
    0630 – 2100 hrs.

    Absentee Ballots and Nominations as per Local Bylaws (Article IV):
    Members who reside in outlying districts more than 25 miles/40km
    (driving distance) from the designated balloting place,
    members who are either confined because of verified illness
    or vacation or on official 1AM business,
    approved by the Local, District or International,
    or on an employer travel assignment,
    as the case maybe, may request an absentee ballot form.

    Any member entitled to receive an Absentee Ballot
    may complete in full the 2323 Absentee Request form
    available from the 2323 website (www.iamaw 2323.ca)
    and also available in the Shop Committee Offices.
    The member must forward it to the Recording Secretary
    via Canada Post, email (rs@iamaw2323.ca)
    or by handing it in, in person, to the Recording Secretary.
    Absentee ballot requests must be received
    not later than 30 days before the election.
