The results are in, and the membership has voted to ratify the new Finance Collective Agreement.
The agreement was approved by 84% of participating members.
On behalf of the Bargaining Committee, District 140, and The IAM Union Leadership, thank you to every member who took the time to review the package, attend the information session, ask questions, and most importantly, participate in the democratic process by casting a vote.
This round of bargaining was driven by the priorities identified by the membership. The result is an agreement that delivers significant gains and improvements while recognizing the important work performed by our finance members.
Negotiating a collective agreement is never easy, and it takes the involvement and support of the membership to reach a successful conclusion. The engagement shown throughout this process helped ensure your voices were heard at the bargaining table.
Over the coming days, additional information regarding implementation timelines and the next steps will be communicated to the membership as details become available.
