TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS
AIR CANADA TMOS MEMBERS REJECT TENTATIVE AGREEMENT
Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings,
The results are in, and the TMOS membership has voted to reject the tentative agreement reached between the IAM Union and Air Canada.
The tentative agreement was rejected by 51.16% of participating members.
Thank you to every member who took the time to review the package, attend the information sessions, ask questions, and participate in the vote. The level of engagement throughout this process demonstrated how important this agreement is to our membership.
With the tentative agreement rejected, the Bargaining Committee will now meet to review the results and determine the next steps. The Union will be contacting the Company to arrange future bargaining dates so discussions can continue and the concerns raised by the membership can be addressed at the negotiating table.
While this outcome may not have been what some were hoping for, the vote reflects the democratic decision of the membership and that decision will be respected. Our focus now turns to evaluating the feedback received and continuing the bargaining process on behalf of the membership.
We ask for your patience as the process moves ahead. Further updates, including future bargaining dates and developments at the table, will be communicated as they become available.
Thank you again to everyone who participated and made their voice heard.
