Absentee Ballots -Reminder

for Voting on Upcoming Elections

Members can request Absentee Ballot(s) for the following reasons;

• I reside more than Forty (40) km (driving distance) from the Local Lodge.

• I will be on vacation.

• I am on verified illness.

• I will be on official IAMAW Business.

• I will be on Employer Travel Assignment.

Any member entitled to receive an absentee ballot may complete “in full” the “2323 Absentee Request Form” (available from the 2323 website (iamaw2323.ca) and also available in the Shop Committee Offices) and forward it to the Recording Secretary via Canada Post or by handing in person to the Recording Secretary.

Absentee ballot requests must be sent in individual envelopes. Absentee ballot requests must be received by Friday November 1, 2013 at the latest via mail or in person to the Recording Secretary.

Please don’t forget to complete the form in full and sign the form. Incomplete requests will be returned by mail.
