Retroactive Pay for Laid Off and Terminated Members
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Members who were laid off or terminated during the period between the expiry of the last collective agreement (March 31, 2011) and the arbitration award concerning the new collective agreement (June 17, 2012) are entitled to a portion of the retroactive pay that was part of this award.
To receive this payment, you must submit a request by e-mail to Linda Egtberts at linda.egtberts@aircanada.ca. In your
e-mail, please remember to include your name, employee number, category, previous wage and the dates during which you worked.
Please note that this retroactive pay could have an adverse affect on any monies you received while unemployed.
