AIR CANADA – TMOS
NEGOTIATIONS UPDATE – August 23, 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
In accordance with Appendix XXXIV, item 7e), your 2019 – 2022 TMOS Negotiating
Committee concluded mediation discussions with Air Canada and Vince Ready on
August 23rd.
The mediation process concluded early as it was clear a negotiated deal was not
attainable. The committee is extremely frustrated that Air Canada continued to show
little interest in meaningful negotiations.
It has been agreed that the parties will proceed to the next phase of the process which
is binding arbitration. Dates have not yet been set.
