Sisters and Brothers:
The Young Machinists of Local Lodge 2323 are looking to the Membership, and
anyone else who wishes to support our community by sponsoring a campaign
called the Light of Hope.
We are offering an opportunity to purchase candles. They are made of scented
soy wax and are being offered at one (1) for $25 or two for $40 dollars
The proceeds will go towards shelters that are experiencing a higher need due
to the rise of domestic violence. Cases of domestic violence have increased
significantly and more than ever shelters are in need of more support in order
to help the influx of families seeking a safe place.
To order your candle(s) send an E-transfer to ym@iamaw2323.ca with the
password Hope. You may also make your purchase by mailing a cheque made
out to Airline Central Lodge 2323.
Pre-ordered candles will be available for pick up at Local Lodge 2323,
2580 Drew Road, Mississauga for one (1) day only on June 5th from 11am-
4pm. We will have a curbside pick-up, alternatively candles can also be mailed,
simply add the delivery address in the message/memo line.
Together we can shine a Light of Hope to help pull our most vulnerable from a
place of darkness.
