UNIFORM UPDATE
Brothers and Sisters:
Over the past several weeks District Lodge 140 has been in discussion with Air
Canada management regarding the new uniform allotments issued, carry over
monetary balances that have been frozen or wiped out entirely and the 2018
$170.00 allowance as per Article 20.01.02 of the Collective Agreement.
The following resolutions have been discussed;
- The frozen and or wiped out cash balances (carry over balances) held prior to
December 31, 2017 will be reinstated entirely in 2019. - The 2018 $170.00 allowance as per Article 20.01.02 of the Collective Agreement
will be addressed through the grievance procedure at 3rd level. - The $170.00 allowance as per Article 20.01.02 of the Collective Agreement for
2019 and subsequent years will resume in the applicable calendar years.
