Negotiations Update Bulletin #12 (TMOS)
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Your negotiations team has been meeting over the past two weeks with Air Canada and the conciliation commissioner appointed by the government.
Her role is to try and get the parties to reach an agreement to take out for ratification. If no agreement can be reached, she will then write her report to the Minister of Labour.
Progress has been painstakingly slow as we attempt to come to resolution on the monetary issues. We are seeing that this corporation’s attitude has not changed. It is the same as the one it demonstrated with the two other bargaining groups.
We will be meeting again from January 30 to February 10 and will keep you updated as we move forward.
