STRIKE AT AIR CANADA
Dear Brothers & Sisters:
Regarding the strike action that may take place on the morning of Monday, March 12, 2012, I must remind all of you that you still have a legally binding Collective Agreement in place with your employer.
Therefore, you are obliged to cross the picket line to get to your job as long as you can do this safely.
If you feel that your safety is at risk by crossing the picket line, you should call your Manager. It is the employer’s responsibility to get you to your work location in a safe manner.
Please contact your Local Lodge to make sure you have your Manager’s correct contact information.
