GENERAL CHAIRPERSON ELECTION – CENTRAL REGION
AIR CANADA DESIGNATED POSITION
NOMINATIONS – SEPTEMBER 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Transportation District 140 Bylaws Article 11.03 states that:
“Nominations for General Chairperson(s) will take place at the first (1st) Local
Lodge meeting within the affected region during the month of September.”
In accordance with Article 11.01.05 of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws:
“All designated General Chairpersons position shall be nominated by and elected
by the respective membership in each region and affiliated group.”
There will be elections on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 for the Air Canada
Designated Central Region General Chairperson position.
This group is “NOT” eligible to vote for the Service Central Region General Chairpersons
position. The Screener Central Region General Chairperson Position and The Technical
Operations, Logistics and Supply Central Region General Chairperson position.
They “ARE” eligible to vote for the AT LARGE Central Region General Chairperson’s
position.
All members who are in “good standing” as per the IAMAW Constitution Article II, Section
04, will be permitted to cast a vote.
