GENERAL CHAIRPERSON ELECTION – CENTRAL REGION
SERVICE DESIGNATED POSITION
NOMINATIONS – SEPTEMBER 2019
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Transportation District 140 Bylaws Article 11.03 states that:
“Nominations for General Chairperson(s) will take place at the first (1st) Local
Lodge meeting within the affected region during the month of September.”
In accordance with Article 11.01.05 of the Transportation District 140 Bylaws:
“All designated General Chairpersons positions shall be nominated by and
elected by the respective membership in each region and affiliated group.”
There will be elections on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 for the Service Designated
Central Region General Chairperson position.
All members who are in “good standing” as per the IAMAW Constitution Article II, Section
04, who are employed in the Service sector from Local Lodges within the Central Region
will be eligible to cast ballots for the Service Designated Central Region General
Chairperson position.
They are eligible to vote for all AT LARGE positions in the Central Region.
