Notice to All: IAMAW Local Lodge 2323 Air Canada TMOS Members

Re: Bylaw Changes to: Article IX – Health & Safety Section 1.

As per the changes approved by the Membership and Grand Lodge, Local Lodge 2323 will be holding Nominations in May at the General Membership Meeting and Elections in July (if required) for the following positions on the Health and Safety Committee. Term of Office will be January 01, 2016 to December 31, 2018.

Aircraft Services and CEQ 
7 Members for Aircraft Services and 1 Member for CEQ
2 Alternates

Weight & Balance
3 Members
1 Alternate

Technical Operations
6 Members
3 Alternates

3 Members
1 Alternate

Ottawa Line Station

Members in attendance will be able to accept nomination. Nominees not in attendance must submit a written acceptance to the Recording Secretary of the Local Lodge prior to the Membership Meeting, no later than Monday, May 2, 2016. An acceptance can only be received by the Recording Secretary via fax, Canada Post or delivered in person.

A candidate must have been a member of the Local Lodge for at least six (6) months prior to nominations. They must have attended 50% of the regular Monthly Membership meetings held by the Lodge that their Union activities, shift assignments, vacations and verified illnesses would allow during the previous twelve month period ending the date of close of nominations.
