IAMAW MULTI-EMPLOYER PENSION PLAN MEPP ENROLLMENT FORMS AND DOCUMENTS
Dear Sisters and Brothers,
This bulletin is to advise all Transportation District 140 members of the IAMAW Multi-Employer Pension Plan (MEPP), of a change to the MEPP enrollment process for new members.
All new hire Transportation District 140 members who are hired with any of the ten (10) participating employers in the MEPP will receive an enrollment kit from the MEPP.
The enrollment kits are mailed to the home addresses of all new hire members via Canada Post shortly after their date of hire. The enrollment kits include information about the MEPP as well as hard copy enrollment forms. Previously members were asked to complete the enrollment forms and send them back to the MEPP administrator via Canada Post.
Effective immediately, all new hire members who are members of the MEPP, including those at Air Canada, should now submit their MEPP enrollment forms electronically via the MEPP website. The MEPP website can be accessed at www.iammepp.ca
This new online enrollment process streamlines the uploading of member data to the MEPP database and shortens the timeline that it takes for new members to become enrolled in their new pension plan.
The online enrollment form can be accessed from the ENROLLMENT tile on the MEPP website home page or from the DOCUMENTATION link.
The MEPP website remains the best source of information and contact for the MEPP. In addition to the enrollment forms, all new and existing members of the MEPP can access and download the Summary Plan Description booklet as well as beneficiary change forms and address change forms directly from the MEPP website. These can all be found under the DOCUMENTATION link on the website home page.
The website also contains a SECURE LOGIN page where all MEPP members can access and view their personal MEPP information, including their profile, pension contributions, pension estimates and annual statements. Members can also contact the MEPP Administrator directly from the CONTACT page of the website.
In solidarity,
Christopher Hiscock
