TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS
EMPLOYED BY
AIR CANADA
LOU 29 AND e-VACANCY PROCESS
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
During the last round of Collective Bargaining the IAMAW and the Company
bargained changes to the above basic testing process.
The makeup of the test has been completed for a few months and the Company is
holding testing sessions in all locations.
The Company also issued GIC 2016 – 003 which explains the new e-Vacancy
process regarding test scheduling, upgrades from part-time to full-time, the
application and transfer processes.
This GIC was emailed directly to all employees in June and August of this year
and put into ESS. It is important that all Air Canada IAMAW Members educate
themselves with regards to this new process as there are some substantial
changes to the LOU 29 and e-Vacancy processes.
In Solidarity,
Keith Aiken, General Chairperson
