LTD MEMBERS – TERMINATIONS
-UPDATE
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
Transportation District 140, in consultation with our legal counsel, is currently in
discussions with Air Canada regarding the terminations of our Members who are
in receipt of Long Term Disability Benefits.
Through these discussions your Union is requesting a cease and desist
agreement with Air Canada pending the outcome of an arbitrator’s decision.
Any Member in receipt of Long Term Disability Benefits, who has received a letter
from Air Canada, is discouraged from making any decisions at this time as your
Union is of the opinion that the parties will reach a cease and desist agreement.
As more information becomes available it will be communicated to the affected
Members.
