MOA Shifting Vote September 23 & 24, 2014
IAMAW Air Canada Airports & Cargo Operations Members
We would like to thank the Members who participated in the recent balloting concerning the MOA. We appreciate that we were not able to cover all of your work rotations but dates and times were chosen based on access to the optimal number of shifts, while we were very pleased with the awe-inspiring numbers of participants we understand that we could not accommodate everyone and would be happy to listen to your suggestions.
We will not be posting the results of the balloting. The outcome will not affect the upcoming shifts but rather the Summer 2015 Shifts.
The summary of the vote has been delivered to District Lodge 140 and in particular to General Chairperson Boyd Richardson for safe keeping. It is to be used as a negotiating tool when dealing with our shifts. We believe it is prudent not to announce the outcome to the Company too soon and not before November 01, 2014.
Again we would like to thank you for your participation, your input is very important to us, if you have any further concerns or questions please don’t hesitate to contact the Local Lodge.
In solidarity,
Vince Commisso
Recording Secretary
