Nominations and Election of Delegates to Attend
I.A.M.A.W. Grand Lodge Convention
Chicago Illinois, September 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9, 2016
Elections and Nominations will be received at the April 05, 2016 General Membership Meeting with Elections May 03, 2016.
Eligibility: Members in attendance may accept nomination. Nominees not in attendance will be required to submit their acceptance in writing to the Recording Secretary to be read out at the nomination meeting. They may be mailed, faxed or handed in person to the Recording Secretary.
Members accepting nomination must have attended at least 50% of the Regular Local Lodge Meetings held during the 12 month period ending the date of the close of nominations that their scheduled shifts, employee assignments, vacations, verified illness, Local-District-Grand Lodge business shall allow. Proof of attendance shall consist of signing the register by each member attending the Regular Local Lodge meetings and said register shall be in the custody of the Recording Secretary. Members in good standing in Line Stations shall be accredited as having attended said meetings.
Absentee Ballots: Any member entitled to receive an absentee ballot must make written request (download request from our website) indicating one of the acceptable reasons for the request, must include your Union card number and forward it to the Recording Secretary via Canada Post or handing in in person to the Recording Secretary. Each Absentee Ballot Request must be sent in an individual envelope. Absentee ballot request must be received by April 05, 2016.
