Notice: To All IAMAW Local Lodge 2323 Members
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
On December 8, 2015 this office received a letter from International President,
R. Thomas Buffenbarger, advising us that an appeal was filed with regards to a
vote that was held on October 20, 2015 at our Membership Meeting. The vote
that occurred was regarding the recommendations presented to the Membership
with findings by the Trial Committee. The Membership voted not to accept the
recommendations of the Trial Committee. Brother Buffenbarger has advised that
upon careful review of the matter that he had no choice but to overturn the
results of the vote and back the Trial Committee’s findings. The verdict of guilty
shall stand, and the Trial Committee’s recommended punishment shall take place.
By copy of this letter, it is my responsibility to revoke Brother Vickram Seebalak of
his responsibilities of Shop Committee Chairperson immediately and advise the
Membership that Brother Seebalak is not eligible to run for any position in this
union for a period of three (3) years.
