NOTICE
Proposed Local Lodge 2323 By-Law Amendments

To all members of Local Lodge 2323:

At the membership meeting held on May 3, 2016 a recommendation was made to the membership that
the Local Lodge be put under the Supervision of Grand Lodge to review our current practices of Election
processes. This recommendation was accepted by the membership at this meeting. Your Executive
Board has been working with Grand Lodge Representative, Heather Kelley, to insure that any previous
errors be corrected moving forward and that the Local Lodge is following our Bylaws as well as the
IAMAW Constitution and any Circulars that pertain to Voting/Elections protocol. The Executive Board
has been an active part in reviewing and documenting the process on behalf of our members.

As part of this review it has been recommended that some language be cleared up in our Bylaws. The
four proposed Bylaw Amendments were read out at the membership meeting held on Tuesday August
2, 2016 and will be voted on at the membership meeting on Tuesday September 6, 2016. The
Amendments as recommended are attached to this bulletin.

In Solidarity,

Linda Mastromattei
President
