Recall & Bumping in Airports/Cargo/Cabins

Greetings Sisters and Brothers:

In order to help you understand and to keep you informed with the current recall notices that were sent
out on August 7, 2020. There are both permanent and conditional choices. We have broken it down into
the current cutoff dates for each classification.

Definition of Conditional
You “could” be displaced by a senior member choosing to bump into the particular classification from
another point that the junior member has been placed conditionally in.

Members who have chosen to bump and their seniority date qualified them for permanent recall, will
remain at the point (classification or base) based upon your choice submitted (i.e. full time or part
time).

If you were not given a recall notice, you will then proceed to your new classification or base (point).

The company has advised the Union that the actual bumping process will proceed after Labour Day
(September 7, 2020) but no specific date is confirmed.
