The September 20 rally in Toronto to Save Canada’s Postal Services is just a week away.
This message is an urgent request to you, right now, to notify your members, supporters and friends, to attend the broadly sponsored rally. Please do this, now, by e-mail and/or by any and every means of communication available to you.
See the attachments below for the ad and flyers being distributed massively across the city and region. Feel free to use them in any appropriate way to promote the Saturday, September 20 rally.
Prominent labour and community speakers, plus drumming and music, will be featured at the giant rally in front of Tory Finance Minister Joe Oliver’s office at Bathurst and Lawrence, 1 p.m. on that Saturday.
In addition, teams of campaign supporters will be canvassing residents of Eglinton-Lawrence constituency, door to door, on Monday, Sept. 15. Want to help with the canvassing? Meet us at the SW corner of Bathurst and Lawrence on Monday at 6 p.m. Let me know you are coming.
