SWISSPORT STRIKE

PIERRE ELLIOTT TRUDEAU & MIRABEL AIRPORTS
Dear Brothers & Sisters:
Aircraft Refuelers, Dispatchers & Fuel Storage Facility Maintenance Workers
working for Swissport Canada Inc. (Swissport) at Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau
and Mirabel Airports, members of the IAMAW Local Lodge 2301, are currently on
strike.
Transportation District 140’s Bargaining Committee has been attempting to
negotiate a fair collective agreement with the assistance of a mediator since
December 3, 2019. However, the employer is resisting to negotiate fair wages &
working conditions for our members forcing them to strike their employer.
All unionized workers are asked not to accept SCAB employment with Swissport
Canada Inc. at Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Mirabel Airports in support of our striking
members.
