TO ALL IAMAW AIR CANADA MEMBERS
(TMOS, FINANCE & CLERICAL)
AIR CANADA’s FAQ – CEWS & CERB

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Further to Bulletin #24 issued on April 15, 2020, please be advised that Air Canada has formally advised the Union that they are not willing to extend the deadline beyond April 16, 2020 at 20:00 EST (today) to voluntarily select preferences between the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) and the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) programs.

Accordingly, the membership should make their decisions today to voluntarily select preferences between the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy (CEWS) and the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) programs based on the information that has been provided to them to date.

Be assured that we are continuing to raise with Air Canada a number of concerns with regards to the application of the collective agreement and the communications Air Canada issued to the IAM membership.

In solidarity,

Fred Hospes, President and Directing General Chairperson
Transportation District 140, IAMAW
