To All IAMAW Local Lodge 2323 Members
Dear Sisters and Brothers:
In periods of layoff or off duty status, the IAMAW Constitution requires what is called U-Stamps
of $2.00 per month, that must be paid by each affected member monthly. This provision allows
for you to remain as a Member in Good Standing. (Please refer to Article G on page 124-
Eligibility and Conditions of Issue, which can be found on Local Lodge 2323 Website under the
drop down menu About and then the submenu About 2323).
Your Executive Board realizes these are difficult times and in order to eliminate this financial
burden on each member, we intend to pay these monies on your behalf from our savings for as
long as it is viable to do so.
We realize that these are difficult times for everyone and will do whatever we can to assist
everyone in getting through this. We suggest that each member visit the Local Lodge Website
(iamaw2323.ca) regularly as it will be updated with information as things evolve.
