CABIN STANDARD AND SERVICE –
OVERPAYMENTS
Dear Brothers and Sisters:
The District 140 was advised last week about a computer programming error that
generated overpayments. These overpayments are specifically in the Cabin Standard
and Service department (Cabins) and are between May 17 and October 17, 2020. The
District has already reached out to the shop committees to explain the information that
has been provided by the company and the process for recollection covered by LOU
12 of our CBA.
If you believe you are being recollected funds improperly, we ask you to review LOU
12 of our CBA, collect appropriate pay cheques and time records before going to see
the shop committee. This will in turn allow us to process your grievance in a quick
manner and avoid unnecessary delays.
