TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS -AIR CANADA -OFF-DUTY STATUS -District 140 Bulletin #4

TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS
AIR CANADA
OFF-DUTY STATUS

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As a follow-up to Bulletin No. 1 dated January 8, 2021, the Union has made an
application for interim relief as per the Collective Agreement and the Canada
Labour Code.

The matter will be heard in front of Arbitrator Corinn Bell on Thursday, February 11,
2021, and the Union will be seeking a cease and desist order against Air Canada’s
misuse of Article 20.14, “Off-Duty Status.”

District Lodge 140 worked very hard to secure the earliest possible date to continue
with this process consistent with the language of the Collective Agreement.

Updates will be provided, as information becomes available.

In solidarity,
