Members of CUPE Local 966, Ontario Works, Human Resources Unit, have been on strike against the Region of Peel, since Thursday, May 3, 2012.
The members, predominantly women who work in high-stress jobs, are seeking equity and fairness from the Region and they are fighting off concessions.
The Region has refused to continue talks. The community deserves better treatment and we deserve better treatment. We want them back at the table now!

our numerous struggles at YYZ with their bus a prominant feature of every labour action.
They have always been there for us. Now we need to be there for them.
