Young Machinists from Local Lodge 2323 shine again -IAMAW Canada

On October 15th the Young Machinists of IAM Local 2323 (Sheryl, Kris and Nicole) as well as the Dave Flowers, PDGC of IAM Transportation District 140, Dave Flowers, went to downtown Toronto and gave out packed lunches to some of the very vulnerable people living on our streets. We successfully handed out 38 lunches and those who received were sincerely grateful.

We believe that service to the community is an ongoing commitment that we proudly support and will continue to support.

We want to thank all those who helped make this possible with their donations.

We are committed to trying our very best to help those in need – and there is so much more work that needs to be done. This is why next month we will be partnering up with the Women’s Committee from Local Lodge 2921 in an effort to bring more food and warmth onto the streets of Toronto.

Look out for our November Initiative, please donate if you can. You will be helping someone who truly needs it.

Once again thank you all for your support!
