CLERICAL NATIONAL BARGAINING COMMITTEE
Dear Brothers & Sisters:
Please be advised that the nomination and election process for the Clerical National Bargaining
Committee shall commence per the Transportation District 140 Bylaws and each of the Local Lodge
Bylaws.
The 2019 Clerical National Bargaining Committee will have a total of three (3) Members:
LL 1751 – 1 Member from Clerical
LL 2323 – 1 Member from Clerical
LL 764 – 1 Member from Clerical
Once the Clerical National Bargaining Committee is convened, business will proceed as follows:
• The negotiations committee will be provided negotiations preparation training at the WWW
Education and Technology Center at Placid Harbor;
• A Clerical General Chairperson will be assigned to the Clerical National Bargaining Committee by
the President and Directing General Chairperson;
• Should a final Tentative Agreement be freely bargained, it will be subject to ratification of the
entire Clerical Bargaining Unit;
• Members who are designated to move to another position/location will exercise their voting rights
at the location they are physically in at the time of the vote.
Please consult with your Local Lodge’s bulletin boards and websites for further information regarding
the negotiations preparation process and timelines.
