AC UPDATE – OFF DUTY STATUS (ODS) GRIEVANCE – ARBITRATION WIN

TO ALL IAM MEMBERS AIR CANADA UPDATE – OFF DUTY STATUS (ODS) GRIEVANCE – ARBITRATION WIN

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We’re pleased to share some positive news regarding the ongoing Off Duty Status (ODS)
grievance at arbitration. After lengthy discussions and with the support of the arbitrator, the
Union is happy to report that all members affected by the second round of ODS placements in
2021, who could have bumped down at their home base in a layoff scenario, will now be paid
and made whole.

The Company has committed to issuing payments to these members as soon as possible.
As we celebrate this step forward, the Union remains focused on the next phase of this
grievance: resolving matters for members who could have bumped to other bases to maintain
employment.

We sincerely thank you for your patience throughout this process and remain committed to
ensuring a fair outcome for all affected members. Stay tuned for further updates as we move
forward together.

In solidarity,
