AIR CANADA 2026 CONTRACT BARGAINING UPDATE

SEPTEMBER 16, 2025

Brothers, Sisters, and Siblings,

This past week your Bargaining Committees, alongside your Subcommittee Representatives,
President and Directing General Chairperson, General Chairpersons, International
Representatives, and our team of Economists, came together at the Winpisinger Education and
Technology Center in Washington, D.C.

The week was full throttle from start to finish. Every day was packed with intense discussions,
strategy sessions, and hands-on workshops. Your committees rolled up their sleeves and put in
the hard work, drilling down into classification-specific proposals while also coming together as
a united front to tackle issues that impact all of us across the board.

The energy in the room was undeniable. There was no wasted time. Every moment was spent
reviewing, refining, and locking in proposals that reflect the priorities of our membership. This
collective effort ensures that when we head to the table, we do so with a clear, coordinated, and
powerful voice.

We are building momentum, and this is only the beginning. Your committees are committed,
energized, and ready to deliver the strong, industry-leading contract you deserve.
Stay tuned – more updates to come as we move forward.

In Solidarity,
