Air Canada Lead Station Attendant Ratio Grievance -District 140 Bulletin #11

TO ALL IAMAW MEMBERS

AIR CANADA
LEAD STATION ATTENDANT RATIO GRIEVANCE

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

The Union met with the company March 15th to arbitrate the Lead Station Attendant
ratio grievance. Before starting the arbitration, the Union and Company managed to
mediate an interim settlement.

Effective this week, the Union and Company have agreed to add three (3) additional
Lead Station Attendant lines and these lines will be on the 2019 summer bid in YUL.

As this mediated settlement is interim, this issue will be discussed in the current round
of negotiations in an attempt to settle it permanently. If the Union and the company fail
to reach an agreement at the table with respect to this grievance, Arbitrator Schmidt
is seized and the grievance will return in front of her.

In Solidarity,

Guillaume Lingat
Acting General Chairperson – Eastern Region
Transportation District 140, IAMAW
