IAM 2323 online meetings, rules and regulations
You are not permitted to attend the meeting if you are on shift. Therefore, you are not allowed to attend the virtual meeting if you are on shift. You must show your video at all times to ensure you meet this requirement
Use the right tools
Familiarize yourself with the platform’s features, to facilitate smooth interaction.
Test your tech
Before the meeting, ensure your audio and video are working properly to avoid disruptions.
Arrive on Time
Being punctual shows respect for other’s time and helps maintain a focused meeting environment.
Log in a few minutes early to test your audio, video, and internet connection.
Close unrelated tabs and silence notifications to minimize distractions.
Be respectful
Avoid speaking over others, muting when not speaking, and using reactions or emojis sparingly to maintain a respectful atmosphere.
If you’re having tech issues
Use private chat using the host WhatsApp.

Will not be permitted without the permission of the President or his replacement.
Be mindful of distractions
Find a quiet place to work and minimize distractions to ensure full attention during the meeting.
Use Video Thoughtfully
Turn on your camera to foster connection and engagement.
Position your camera to maintain eye contact.
Ensure your background is tidy or use a virtual background if needed.
Dress appropriately, at least as you would for an in-person meeting.
We’d like to remind everyone that our online meetings are governed by this Code of Conduct designed to ensure respectful, inclusive, and productive collaboration. Unfortunately, we’ve observed behavior that does not align with these expectations.
Examples include:
Using disrespectful or inappropriate language or offensive hand gestures.
Refrain from drinking alcohol or drink that resembles alcohol.
Disregarding the facilitator’s guidance.
Not having a live feed. (camera on).
Attendees who do not adhere to the Code of Conduct may be temporarily placed in the waiting room. To be reinstated the meeting you will have to contact the host via WhatsApp.
